What I loved about Stephanie and Darren’s wedding was the mixture of their cultural heritages with a vintage flair. Stephanie wore an amazing lace dress and after their traditional ceremony she and Darren changed into Korean clothing for a tea ceremony. Darren’s Japanese culture was shared with 1001 hanging gold cranes and their wedding favors were both Japanese and Korean Manju, which is a sweet dessert pastry. Their overall decor was distinctly vintage with bird cages, mason jars, pearls and lace. Their menu included local favorites and a late night snack of freshly fried malasadas, a portuguese doughnut covered in sugar. Yum!
Their wedding was captured beautifully by What a Day Photography!
We were thrilled with Style Me Pretty selected their wedding to be featured in their destination wedding blog. You can see more here and make sure to read the story of their engagement… It’s so ROMANTIC! We’ve also just heard that one of the creme de la creme wedding design experts will be using one of their images for his webiste
